I was looking through the archives of some of the entries at A Prairie View, and it fell into place what I want to do with this blog. As I looked, and read, savored the pages with the cute little graphics I so loved … I realized what I missed that creative side of me. And I miss those days of simple blogging, memes, interaction with other bloggers. And it became clear to what purpose this new domain we had to set up would have. I want to recapture that part of me again. I don’t plan on giving up the paid blogging, and will continue to make a serious attempt to make some serious money.

But. At the blogs I already have set up and established. This blog — “Quiet Time With Carolyn” — and I do have “Quiet Time Companion” on the “myprairierose.com” domain — those 2 are going to go hand in hand. One will be the every day stuff. The other with be a faith walk blog. No paid blogging. No getting sidetracked with other stuff. These 2 blogs will be blogging in its purest form — those posts of simplicity and life. A place where its not about the ratings. Or the Page Rank. Or the linkage or linky love. Its just about being me, and what is going on in my head, my heart, and my life. Its as simple as that. I’ve lost that part of me, and I am going to take what has happened this past week, and try to see it as a “gift” — giving me the time to step back, and really analyze what I need to do here.
