Changing Things Around

I love this. David is being sexist about this, but it still makes me laugh. We have 3 convenient stores in town, and we frequent one of them — for gas, for their “good” ice (its crushed ice like Sonic, not cubes), and other various things they have. Management has changed hands several times in the last year. The last manager was a man … we knew him a little bit, he attended our church, and he always struck up conversation when we would go in. But within in the last week, management has changed — once again. Its a lady manager. I walked in today … WOW. I kidded David. You can tell a woman is in charge. She has done in, and changed EVERYTHING around. If it wasn’t nailed down or nailed to the wall, its not where it used to be. At least the espresso machines and the ice machine is still in the same place. But the snack items and candy bars … paper goods, etc. All changed around. There were novelty gift items in the front window. Gone. I am interested in seeing just what all she does with the place. David keeps saying “yep. Its a woman” and he’s not being nice about it. I love it!
