Camping Season Is Here
Memorial Day Weekend is just next weekend. We will dust off our camper and head out to the local lake and camp all weekend. David said his brother called yesterday, and it looks like we will be camping together, which is always fun. We have camped with David’s family off and on most of our marriage, starting out in just a tent, and have worked our way up to a fifth wheel (granted, its a $3000 5th wheel, so yes, it was cheap, but it suites our needs, for no more than we use it). Lots of different activities go on throughout the weekend. If it is as nice next weekend as it is this weekend, I’m sure David’s brothers will be including golf bags as some of things they pack for the weekend. I’m sure one meal we have will be a total “family get together”. Amazing how large of a family we really are when everyone gets together. Or maybe it just looks that way when we are all spread out between several campsites. Hard to believe its camping season already.
