Early Morning Quietness
When we bought our camper last year, one of the major things that drew me to it was the furniturelayout. It has a bay-window of sorts, and that is where the table is. I loved sitting there, at the table, with a cup of hot chocolate, early in the morning, watching the sun come up when we camped last year. I am hoping that we will do it even more this year — although, we aren’t getting off to a good start. We usually go out to our local lake area, which is only 3 miles away. It works out really well for us — we have all the “outdoor-sey-ness” that camping would give us, and yet, we are close enough to town, that we don’t feel like we are miles from no where, and running into town would be a major trip. However, we didn’t reserve spots soon enough this year. David’s brother called another area where they have camped alot, and got 3 spots — for them, us, and David’s brother. The drawback, though, it is probably 45 miles away. Half way between Topeka and us. Which is fine, but it will be one of those deals where we will pack for the weekend, and will probably be gone for the whole 3 day weekend. Which means I need to put checking into getting the internet on my laptop out there on my to-do list. With the phone I have now, from all the questions we have asked, I’m thinking all I will need to do is subscribe to a 3 month plan, and I should be good to go. If I’m going to do it, nows the time to do it. I have lots of projects and things I would like to get done, so the camping time would be a great time to work on them.
