I have a feeling that by the time this evening is over with, we are going to wish we had a faucet outside. Our church is planning a all-church cookout, with games and activities. Some of the activities that are planned sound a bit messy, which of course, is half the fun. But hopefully, the kids won’t be tracking the mess into the church to clean up. Hopefully, the planning committee behind this has a plan for clean up that involves outside clean up. I’m sure they do. This is the same committee that did a pinata’ this winter — inside. I was really worried about the safety factor. But, I didn’t realize they made pinatas now that involve just pulling strings, and the right string opens the pinata up. No swinging bats. So I’m sure everything is under control and we won’t have any problems. These get togethers are always fun and always alot of good food. And the weather is perfect. Its not hot, and no chance of rain today. Couldn’t be better.
