Has God forsaken Raelene?
What kind of God would take a girl’s family and leave her alone in a wild land where women have no voice? When Gustaf Hanssen promises Raelene’s dying father that he will take care of her, he finds himself bound to her happiness, her success, and her well-being in ways he never imagined. Amber’s book sounds so good. I’ve not had the chance to read it yet, but do know Amber through ACFW. We had a harrowing drive over the continental divide in a rental car during a snow storm a few years ago–and this from two gals who lived in places it rarely snowed. Remember that?

Thanks again, Cindi. It’s great to have you along for the ride these next few weeks.
Jo, I wish you the best of luck in winning a copy. Thanks for coming here to post.
And Vickie, of course I remember that wild jaunt over the snow-covered Hoosier pass, not to mention the trip through the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 west of Denver where on the east side everything was fine. Before we left the tunnel, we saw that alert advising us of bad weather conditions and to “Slow Down Now!”
For those who are wondering, when you see something like that, they mean it!
Ironic that I now live in that very state where we drove and have driven those same roads many, many times since.
Good luck to all!

Oh, I am so happy for Tiff! She has worked hard to learn what she needed to become a published author. I would love to win a copy of her new book. Thanks, Carolyn for interviewing her and telling us more about Promises, Promises.
