Ethan has gotten pretty lucky where his car is concerned. Course, he doesn’t drive it all that many miles, but it starts first time every time, and he has had very little trouble with it. I know when his older brothers were his age, they were buying car parts all the time. Course, they were alot more demanding of their vehicles, and drove more than just to and from work and to and from school. They would go cruising and probably other things I would just as soon not know about. Ethan, on the other hand, tends to not have much of a social life, so he saves alot in fuel and mechanical issues.
