On A Smaller Scale

Even though its been almost 10 years, we still have promotional pens from the company we used to work for. We had ordered several thousand, because we did trade shows, and wanted an abundance of them to give out there. Plus, we had a show room, and also gave tours through the factory, so giving away pens was an inexpensive way to giving the customers (and even those who were actually paying customers) something, and yet, remind them where they got that cute cuddly stuffed animal, and who they could call to get more. I now work at our church in the mornings, and in the afternoons, at the trucking company that my husband manages — and we have followed suit there, with the promotional pens, just on a smaller scale. The pens at the church were part of a Father’s Day gift from the CWF ladies. We also keep a few on my desk, and one by one, they tend to disappear. At the trucking company, the driver’s use them, and they disappear a whole lot quicker. But that was the whole point when we bought them, was for them to use them, give them away, leave them lying somewhere, advertising our trucking company. Useful tool.
