Carolyn, I’ve already posted on your other spotlights for me, but I wanted to post again here to say how much I loved your review.

It never ceases to amaze me when I read a review that points out something a reader pulled from my book that I never saw the entire time I was writing or editing it. You did just that with your parallel of knowing Gustaf had to be Raelene’s “knight in shining armor” yet he continually got pushed aside and the world interfered. Just like we do with God when He wants to be our knight riding to the rescue.

Wow! Thank you for that. It truly touched my heart to read your review.

And Vickie, of course I remember that wild jaunt over the snow-covered Hoosier pass, not to mention the trip through the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 west of Denver where on the east side everything was fine. Before we left the tunnel, we saw that alert advising us of bad weather conditions and to “Slow Down Now!”

For those who are wondering, when you see something like that, they mean it!

Ironic that I now live in that very state where we drove and have driven those same roads many, many times since.
